How long have you been in business?
Tri-County has been open to the public since 2009.
What is your primary product or service?
Tri-County Pharmacy provides full service pharmaceutical services, including custom compounded medications with free flavoring for oral suspensions, including veterinary scripts, creams, lotions, suppositories and transdermal applications.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Tri-County Pharmacy was originally established to provide necessary medical prescriptions for our residential persons served. As the agency grew, the pharmacy was revamped and made available to the general public.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
When we first opened our business to the public, our goal was to provide the highest quality prescription service at the most reasonable cost and most convenient manner possible. We were the pioneers in free home delivery, compounding and custom medications in this area and continue to offer the most reasonable prices on most prescriptions and over the counter medications.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
At the present time, we have one centrally located pharmacy, but service many areas, including county jails in Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.

From anywere in Lakeland, go to Hwy 98, (north or south) and proceed to Crystal Lake Dr. North, near the Crystal Grove Plaza, behind the Mid-Florida Bank. Ours is a two story gray building with "Tri-County Centre" on the top.
What type of payments do you accept?
Tri-County pharmacy accepts most insurance plans, Medicaid and Medicare, and of course, cash. Contact your insurer to discuss coverage.
Which areas do you service?
We are currently serving and delivering to three counties; Polk, Hardee and Highlands with FREE delivery to all those areas.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Tri-County Pharmacy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tri-County Human Services, Inc. Daily operations are supervised by Susan Johns, pharmacist.
What are your hours of operation?
Tri-County Pharmacy is open Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Friendly, courteous and knowledgeable service. Our pharmicist reviews each incoming prescription and checks for inconsistancies, conflicting medications and medical conditions before filling your order.
